Rosemarie Shaffer, 85, formerly of Moffat Rd, passed away the afternoon of May 12, 2017 at the Avalon Nursing Center.

Born on February 3, 1932 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Tarnoci Meyer. On April 7, 1951, she married her beloved husband, Robert E. Shaffer, and the two spent 46 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on November 17, 1997.

Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Susan Iorio and husband David of Ravenna, OH, brother, Joseph Meyer of Butler, PA, and grandchild, Morgan Iorio.

Private calling hours and services will be held at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd, officiated by Reverend Dennis Bupp.

Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
