Ted D. Barr, 60, of New Castle, passed away on March 13, 2017 at his residence. Born on December 21, 1956 in New Castle, he was the son of Frank Barr of Florida and the late Jean Shelenberger Barr.

For approximately 20 years, Ted had worked for Sparmon-Fischler, New Castle Kitchen and Bath, and he also was a home remodeler. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. Ted also enjoyed collecting antiques and repairing various mechanical items, including cars. He loved his family and God.

In addition to his father, Ted is survived by his children, Sarah Quezada and husband Scott of Edinboro, PA and Rachel Giuliano of New Castle; brother, Terry Barr and wife Debi of Harrisville, PA; sister, Cindy Welch and husband Dean of New Castle; grandchildren, Christina Cummings, Ethan Quezada, and Hazel Quezada; and one niece and one nephew.

Services and interment are private.
