<p>Donald L. Wansitler, 60, of Slippery Rock Township passed away the evening of June 8, 2019 at UPMC Montefiore. </p><p><br></p><p>Born on December 14, 1958 in New Castle he was the son of the late David L. and Florence Rouzzo Wansitler. </p><p><br></p><p>On July 16, 1977 he married his beloved wife, the former Gloria Iorio who survives at home. </p><p><br></p><p>Don had been a self-employed contractor. </p><p><br></p><p>He was a member of Life Changing Ministries Church which he helped to create and build.</p><p><br></p><p>Don was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed camping, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his children, Donald Wansitler (Lisa) of New Castle, Suzanne Wansitler of Myrtle Beach, SC, two brothers, David Wansitler and Bill Forkey, both of New Castle, his sister, Donna Bash and her husband Bob of Pittsburgh, six grandchildren, Donnie, Marcus, Dominic, Kameron, Kobe and Karsyn Rose, his extended family, Dori and Fred Weaver, Sue and Bill Lanigan, Ronnie and Tammy Iorio, Doug and Helen Iorio, Bill Iorio and Sandy Iorio, and his In-laws, Mom and Dad Iorio. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by Uncle, Butch Wansitler. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ed &amp; Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St. </p><p><br></p><p>A service will be held on Wednesday at Life Changing Ministries Church 2929 Mercer Road, New Castle at 11:00 a.m. Don’s best friend, Pastor Bill Rupert will officiate. </p>
