Betty Jo Lauman, 84, of Lansdale, passed away May 7, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Rosemary. Born in Atlanta, GA, she was a daughter of the late Mid and Sadie Adel (Leachman) Minish. Betty Jo was a graduate of Commerce High School in Atlanta. She held many jobs throughout her life, but retired from the food service industry. In her later years, she especially enjoyed watching older television shows such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza. Surviving are children: Ellis Lauman, and his wife, Gisele, of Willow Grove; Tony Lauman, and his companion, Kathy Shear, of Telford; Rosemary Lauman, of Quakertown; and Larry Lauman, and his wife, Lori, of Springfield, SC; grandchildren: Joseph, Jennifer, Ritchie, and Tiffany Lauman; Susan Rice; David and Devon Klotz; and Daniel Wertz; and great-grandchildren: Shawn, Emily, Mackenzie, Aisley, Toby, and Isabella. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, HP Minish, and Sally Pohl. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg has been entrusted with her care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, #150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
