James Paige, Jr. was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 27,1963 to the late James Sr. and Charlotte Ashbaugh Paige. He was one of six children born to their union.The family lived in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He was attended Pittsburgh Public Schools and later earned his GED. As an adult he moved to the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh. He was employed by various construction companies as a laborer, an asbestos remover, an all around handy man and was also an automobile mechanic.He loved his family and his children. He worked hard to provide for them. He was a compassionate giver to anyone in need. He also loved playing the stereo system in his truck loud, you could always hear him coming down the street before he got to where he was going.He died at home suddenly on November 19, 2015James leaves to cherish his memory a devoted companion and friend Danisha Morgan; children, James Reid, Jayla, Devon, James, III, Charlotte, Jayshawn, and Dominique Paige, and Tyrone Holt; grandchildren, James and Jaytel Reid, Devon Paige, and Saahir Stanford; siblings and brother in law, Delari Paige Clemons, Roxanne West, Charlotte and Mary Paige and Nancy and Thomas Nicholson; devoted friends, Leslie Parker, Tommy, Winston and Maurice Cole, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
