Logan Andrew Coy, 27 years young, departed this life on the afternoon of Friday, March 24, 2017, at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Born on June 29, 1989, in Carlisle, a son of the late Wilbur Thomas Coy and Vivian F. Watson Coy. He was a 2007 graduate of Shippensburg Area High School. Logan was most recently employed at Fisher & Thompson, Inc. as a service technician. Earlier in life he worked at Franklin Family Farms, Orrstown, in the farrowing department and at the former Family Traditions Restaurant, Chambersburg, as a cook. He was a member of the Walnut Bottom Rod and Gun Club and lived to do anything involving the outdoors; hunting, fishing, boating, or riding ATV’s. He also participated in the local midget football and basketball programs and played basketball during his high school years. In addition to his mother, Logan is survived by his twin sister, Katrina A. Coy of Chambersburg; his brother, Wilbur T. Coy, II of Shippensburg; his niece, Lillian Nicole Coy of Shippensburg; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Green Spring Brethren in Christ Church, Newville. Pastor Ralph Fisher will officiate. Interment will occur at a later date and time. Viewing will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg.
