Margaret Hock Obituary

Margaret M. Hock, 100, a resident of Menno-Haven, formerly of Rice Road, Shippensburg, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the home. She was born September 15, 1916 in Orrstown, PA. Margaret was a daughter of the late Eli and Katie Hoover Myers. Margaret was a member of the Mt. Rock Brethren in Christ Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Walter Hock, Sr., two sons, Raymond and Mervin Hock, two daughters, Thelma and Verna Lou Hock, one sister and three brothers. She is survived by one son, C. Walter (Joye) Hock, five daughters, Isabel (Melvin) Overcash, Julia (Charles) Bowman, Rosalie (Larry) Tarman, Janet (Michael) Ordway and Brenda (Steven) Kaufman, 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the Air Hill Brethren in Christ Church at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor C. Walter Hock and Pastor Philip Steele officiating. Burial will be in the Air Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg and one hour prior to the services at church on Saturday.
