Raymond L. Harry, 80, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 in the Holy Spirit Hospital. He was born October 26, 1936 in Amberson, PA. Raymond was a son of the late Russell and Mabel Bock Harry. He was a member of the Orrstown United Brethren Church. Raymond retired from the Chambersburg Engineering Company. He was a life member of P.O.S. of A. Lodge #645, Orrstown and a former member of the Shippensburg Square Dancing Club. Raymond was a PIAA baseball umpire and a 1954 graduate of the Fannett Metal High School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris G. Harry who passed away December 6, 2014. One daughter Brenda Harry and one brother Fred Harry are also deceased. Raymond is survived by two sons, Andrew A. Harry and Craig E. Harry and his companion Lori Hoffman all of Shippensburg, three siblings, Clifford Harry of Chambersburg, Glen Harry of Newville and Vivian Clowdis of Amberson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg with The Rev. Kenneth E. Williamson officiating. Burial will be held in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
