Ruth Rebok

Ruth P. Rebok, 88, of Newburg, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center. She was born September 6, 1930 in Lurgan Township, Franklin County. Ruth was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Estella Wadel Keefer. She attended Upper Strasburg Church of God. During her life she worked at the former Marden Clothing Company and the former Orweco Frocks in Shippensburg and the former Eastland Clothing Company in Chambersburg. Ruth enjoyed reading the Bible and singing gospel songs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Rebock whom she married March 31, 1951 and died October 29, 2015. Two sisters, Ida Smith and Sadie Barrick and two brothers, William & Levi Keefer are also deceased. She is survived by one sister, Emma White of Chambersburg and one brother, Irvin Keefer of Shippensburg and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Stan V. McCammon.
