Teresa Burkholder

Teresa Jane Burkholder, 58, of Newburg, Passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the home of her mother. Born Thursday, November 3, 1960 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of Helen May Rotz Burkholder, and the late Lee Albert Burkholder. Teresa was a 1978 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School, and attended Penn State Mont Alto. She was a member of the Newburg First Church of God. Teresa worked as a Legal Secretary for various law offices. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Dianne L. (Harry) Killian, and Wanda S. (David) Zeigler, all of Newburg; five nieces and nephews, Brandon (JoAnn) Killian, and Heather (Travis) Wilson, all of Shippensburg, Colton (Ashley) Zeigler, Carsyn, and Caleb Zeigler, all of Newburg; three great nephews; one great niece; and numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Wayne Good officiating. Burial will be in Mongul Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, in the funeral home.
