George K Craig

George K. Craig, 91, of Centre Hall, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born on March 17, 1927, in Yeagertown, PA, he was the son of the late George B. and Jane M. (Foust) Craig. George was a 1944 graduate for Yeagertown High School. He was enlisted in the United States Army during WWII. He earned the rank of T5 and received the World War II Victory Medal for his service. George worked as a cabinet maker for J. Wood Inc. before his retirement. He was of the protestant faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Along with his parents, George was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. George was the last of his generation. Following George’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc 228 S.
