Kenneth L Frazier

Kenneth L. “Ken” Frazier, 92, of Centre Hall, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at his home. Born on March 17, 1925, in Spring Mills, he was the son of the late Earl F. and Anna Jane Smith Frazier. On July 19, 1947, in Farmers Mills, he married Sara J. Zubler who survives at home. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this past July. Ken was a 1942 graduate of Centre Hall-Potter High School. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Medal, EAME Theater Service Medal w/4 Bronze Stars, and the Victor Medal for his years of service. Ken was self-employed as an Electrical Contractor, retiring in 1985 after 18 years of service. Ken was a member of the United Church of Christ in Centre Hall, Masonic Lodge 537 of Centre Hall, and Elks Club #1600 of State College. Ken and Sara were the true snowbirds, traveling throughout the United States in their motorhome. Ken was Vice President for many years of the Penn Coachman, a subsidiary of the FMCA travel group. They were members of other traveling organizations, where they made lifelong friends. Ken was an avid Grange Fair goer. He loved to sit in the front of the tent on the Midway and visit with friends. He was a jack of all trades who could accomplish any thing he put his mind to. He was on the Board of Directors at the First National Bank of Spring Mills for 24 yrs. Ken is survived by his wife, son; Kenneth Michael Frazier and his wife, Carol, of Spring Mills, three daughters: Nancy F. Wagner and her husband, Ennis, of Centre Hall, Beth Ann Znanieck and her husband, Larry, of Denver CO, and Sandra G. Zerby and her husband, John, of Spring Mills, six grandchildren; Kathryn G. Schandler and her husband, Matt, David M. Frazier and his wife, Christina, Cpt. Eric M. Wagner of the US Army, Evan Kenneth Wagner, Rachel E. Juliano, and husband, Denver, and Tibben J. Zerby and wife Katie, two step grandchildren; Philip Jackson and Brian Percy, and three great grandchildren: Zachary Schandler, Sydney Schandler, and Jacob Frazier, and one brother, Donn Frazier and his wife, Marie, of Lancaster, one niece and three nephews. Along with his parents, Ken was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Frazier and one sister, Bernice Frazier. Visitation with family will be on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2-4pm, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 3:45pm at the Trinity United Church of Christ Church in Center Hall. Memorial service will be on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 4pm at the church, with Pastor David Downer officiating, followed by military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity United Church of Christ Church, 104 N. Pennsylvania Ave. PO Box 212, Centre Hall, PA 16828. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc 228 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA 16828.
