Elinor Mae Morton, 92, of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Corry Manor. She was born on December 16, 1926 in Pittsfield, Pennsylvania a daughter of Maor E. Durlin and Alice E. Pennell Durlin. She married William D. Morton on May 10, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1976. She attended Pittsfield Elementary School and Youngsville High School. Elinor was a self-employed dairy farmer for 72 years. She was a member of the Grange years ago, enjoyed watching birds, and gardening. Elinor is survived by two sons, James W. Morton and his wife LuAnn of Cambridge Springs and Lee D. Morton of Union City; three grandsons, Joe, Brian, and Scott Babcock; three granddaughters, Michelle and Heidi Morton and Ashley Estes; five great granchildren; one great great grandchild; a sister, Faye Dukich of Harborcreek; and a sister in law, Jean Durlin of Pittsfield. In addition to her husband, William; she was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Dorothy Babcock and Colleen Patterson; a brother, Carl Durlin; a granddaughter, Amanda Estes; and a grandson, Terry Babcock. Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday, June 15th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor Tom Hunsberger, officiating. Private burial will follow at Chapinville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family c/o Warren-Glenn Funeral Home.
