Paul Kehe

Paul Guy Kehe, loving husband, father, and grandfather, 80, passed away, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital. Paul suffered a stroke in 2007 and has been in and out of the hospital and nursing homes. He was born on November 16, 1938 in Jamestown, NY, a son of Edwin and Gertrude Swager Kehe. He married Evelyn Johnson on March 3, 1962 in Union City, she survives. They would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on March 3, 2019. He retired from Jamestown Laminating after 25 years and also worked at Molded Fiberglass in Union City, working on boats and as a security guard. He belonged to the American Legion in Union City. Paul was a quiet person and never complained about anything. He was the best husband ever, father and grandfather. He enjoyed watching Westerns and was a Buffalo Bills fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude and his father, Edwin Kehe of Jamestown, NY; his younger brother, Chuck of Randolph, NY; his older sister, Mary Gordon of Arizona and three brother in laws, Alvin Fish Sr., William Durfey and Robert Johnson. Survivors include his loving wife, Evelyn of Union City; two sons, Paul "Chip" Kehe and his wife, Lori Culver Kehe and Todd Kehe and his wife, Christine Dabila Kehe of Union City; a daughter, Stefanie Ryan and her husband Braden of Union City; grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, Zayla, Cameron, Shania, Liam, Keely, Destiny, and Chase of Union City and Alexandra Caldwell of Bunn, North Carolina; great grandson, Cody "CJ"; a sister, Delores and her husband Paul Goranson of Jamestown, NY and many nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are welcome to call on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 am with Retired Pastor Fred Rowland of the United Methodist Church, officiating. A reception will follow at the Union City Moose Lodge #882, 3 Perry Street, Union City. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Union City.
