Barbara Milner

Barbara T. Milner a resident of Doylestown for the past 16 years, formerly of Shartlesville, PA., passed away Monday June 7, 2010, at her residence. She was 77. She was the wife for 52 years of George Blackwell Milner who passed away Feb. 18, 2007. Born in Newton Highland, Mass., she was a daughter of the late James and Elsie Trenholm. Along with her husband, Barbara was the owner and operator of the Honey Brook Family Campground in Honey Brook, Pa. Barbara enjoyed volunteering with NOVA. After her husband's retirement, she was able to pursue her passion for travel. They spent many enjoyable winters in St. Petersburg, Fla., where they had many dear friends. Barbara is survived by two sons, George and his wife, Leslie, of Buckingham, and James of Doylestown. She was the loving grandmother of Jessica, Anna and Rachel. She also is survived by two brothers, George and Richard Trenholm; and a sister, Claire Davis. Barbara's memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Rolling Hills United Methodist Church, 7028 Easton Road, Pipersville, where family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time. Interment will be held privately in the Union Cemetery, Ringos, N.J. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Rolling Hills United Methodist Church, PO Box 347, Pipersville, PA 18947
