Beatrice G. Moyer of Pipersville, formerly of Lakeland, Fl and Buckingham, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Doylestown Hospital. She was 87. Beatrice was the wife of the late Harold J. Moyer. Born in Churchville, Beatrice was a daughter of the late Charles and Helen George. Beatrice was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Dublin. While living in Florida, she was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Lakeland, FL where she enjoyed participating in the Alter Gild. Beatrice truly enjoyed being a homemaker and loved sewing. Beatrice is survived by a daughter Heide Lynne Chwal and her husband Ken, 3 grandchildren, Carley, Jenna and Tanner and 2 sisters Ester Carson and Ruth Nuss. She was preceded in death by a grandson Landon. Relatives and friends are invited to Beatrice’s funeral service 11:00 am, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton Rd and Keller’s Church Rd, Plumsteadville. The family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Luke Union Cemetery, Dublin.
