Carole Beth Mahon of Warrington died on October 1, 2014 at Abington Hospice in Warminster. She was 72. Carole was the wife of G. Forrest Mahon. They had been married for 47 years. Carole was the Mother of G. Forrest Mahon, Jr. and is also survived by her grandchildren Corinne and Kevin Mahon. Carole will also be missed by her lhasa apso companion, Chewie. Carole recently retired from Business Services at Abington Memorial Hospital, where she had worked for 46 years. Carole enjoyed working and being with her family and friends. Most of all, Carole enjoyed spending time with her husband, son, and grandchildren whom she adored. Carole also enjoyed reading, sewing, arts & crafts, walking with her friends and boating. She was a long time member of the local gourmet and bridge clubs and the Delaware River Yacht Club. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, October 6, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, PA, and on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Beulah Cemetery, 238 Almshouse Road, New Britain, PA. Carole’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment in the cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
