Carolyn Parker Obituary

Carolyn A. Parker, a resident of Solebury Township for 21 years, formerly of Warrington, passed away suddenly, Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. She was 72. She was the loving wife of John W. Parker. Born in Quincy, Mass., Carolyn was a daughter of the late Charles and Edna O'Neil. Carolyn enjoyed interior decorating and architecture. She also enjoyed gardening and designing landscapes. In addition to her husband, Carolyn is survived by two sons, John Parker and his wife, Lauran, of Doylestown and Chris Parker of Doylestown Borough. She was the loving grandmother of four, Amanda D., Ashley A., John A. and Ryan O. She also is survived by two sisters, Jeanne Ledwell and Nancy Palasek. Carolyn's memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at Carversville United Church of Christ, 3736 Aquetong Road, Carversville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
