Christine J. Inscho, a resident of Upper Black Eddy for the past 25 years, formerly of Clinton Township, N.J., died suddenly, Friday, July 30, 2010. She was 58. She was the loving wife of John R. Inscho. Born in Newark, N.J., she was the daughter of Margaret Daggitt of Upper Black Eddy and the late Leonard Daggitt. Chris was a dedicated teacher for 34 years with the North Hunterdon High School, retiring last year. Chris was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. In her leisure time, she enjoyed many out-of-doors activities including camping and boating. She also enjoyed board games and loved her dogs. She was an active participant in restoring honor to America. In addition to her mother, Chris is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and his wife, Jill of Glenshaw, Pa., and David of Upper Black Eddy; a grandson, Elliott; and a sister, Diane Anderson and her husband, Dave. Chris' memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton Road and Keller's Church Road, Plumsteadville, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, P.O. Box 1203, Newtown, PA 18940.
