Eric "Big Daddy" Reinbott of Albrightsville, Pa., died suddenly
Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Quakertown. For the
past six years he had been battling kidney failure and heart
complications. He was 59.
Born in West Orange, N.J., he was the son of Walter and the late
Rosemary Reinbott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Deborah Reinbott.
Eric graduated from Central Bucks West in 1973. He enjoyed going to the
movies, flea marketing, fishing trips, watching his Phillies games,
playing the harmonica, and guitar, and going to concerts.
He began his successful business career with the family's 7-11
franchises, most recently in Warminster. His love for music influenced
him to open his own bar and hosts local musicians.
For the past 24 years, Eric has owned the Wagon Wheel Tavern in
Quakertown. He created an environment rich in music, great food and
amazing times. He was a huge supporter of the local music scene and in
so doing, he developed the persona "Big Daddy."
Eric also is survived by his daughter, Kimberly, son, Eric Jr.; nephew,
Chris; younger brother, Greg; and his Wagon Wheel family and friends.
His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, at Shelly
Funeral Home Easton and Keller's Church roads, Plumsteadville, where
family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and from
9 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muscular
Dystrophy Association (MDA) in care of Big Daddy, Eric Reinbott, 600
Reed Road, #104 Broomall, PA., 19008.
