Francis E. Meehan, a resident of Warminster since 1966, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Neshaminy Manor, Doylestown. He was 84. He was the loving husband of Jeanette M. Meehan. The couple would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 1. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Stephen and Mary Meehan. Frank was the owner and operator of Frank Meehan General Contracting, Warminster. He was later employed by Neshaminy Manor as a stationary engineer. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. Frank's life centered on his family. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by a son, Stephen of Warminster; and a daughter, Siobhan Donato and her husband, Joseph, of Chalfont; and three grandchildren, Gianna, Nicholas and Rocco. He also is survived by a sister, Patricia Hesser. Frank's funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, May, 17, at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, where family will receive friends from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
