The beautiful and vibrant Helene Herncane passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 19. Helene was the beloved daughter of Mette Ludvigsen Herncane and Christopher Herncane of Doylestown, PA. Born in Drammen, Norway Helene moved to Bucks County, PA. when she was 3 years old. She lived in Bucks County since then, but always loved her many visits back to Norway to spend time with her loving family and friends. Helene enjoyed making people laugh and her smile and sense of humor were infectious. Helene was an avid snowboarder and had a great sense of adventure. Helene loved to travel and took many trips to far off places including Mexico, France and Turkey. Helene always enjoyed her summer family vacations on Long Beach Island, N.J. and Stavern, Norway. Helene was a 2013 graduate of Central Bucks West and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Helene cherished time with her family. She will be incredibly missed by all of her friends and family. She is survived by her parents, grandparents, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and also in Norway. Helene’s Funeral Service will be held Friday June 27, 2014 11:00am at the Shelly Funeral Home Easton & Keller’s Church Roads Plumsteadville. Family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Thursday June 26, 2014 and Friday from 10:00 until the time of the service.
