Jennie L. Rose, a resident of Lansdale since 1981, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was 92. Jennie had been a longtime resident of Philadelphia prior to moving in with her sister Josephine in Lansdale. Born in Philadelphia, Jennie was a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Leo. Jennie enjoyed working on puzzles and word games. She also enjoyed spending time at the casinos as well as taking the train into Philadelphia to go shopping. Jennie is survived by a sister Josephine Podhor, a brother Tom Leo, a nephew George and nieces, Louise, Joanne, Joannie, Linda and Cathy. Jennie was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Leo. Jennie’s funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington where the family will receive friends 9:30-10:00 am. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery, North Wales. Memorial contributions in Jennie’s name may be made to the Ann Silverman Community Health Clinic, 595 West State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
