John J. Fetch Jr., a resident of Warrington for the past 13 years,
formerly of Southampton, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at
Doylestown Hospital. He was 87.
John was the husband of the late Therese A. (Baloga) Fetch.
Born in Wyoming, Pa., he was a son of the late John J. Fetch Sr. and Mae
(Lukesh) Fetch.
John was employed as a salesman involving advanced chlorination and
water treatment. He was a past president of the Pennsylvania Water
Pollution Control Association.
John was proud to have served as a first lieutenant with the U.S. Air
Force during World War II.
He was an active parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Church,
Warrington. He also enjoyed spending many summers with his wife and
family at their residence in Ocean City, N.J.
John is survived by a daughter, Jeanne M. Quinn (Thomas), three sons,
John III, Robert P. (Linda) and Ronald G. (Cynthia); and six
grandchildren. He also is survived by a brother, Daniel, and a sister,
Helen Plummer. John was preceded in death by two brothers, the Rev. Paul
Fetch, and Myron Fetch.
John's funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at St.
Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington, PA 18976. The
family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Shelly
Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, and from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
Monday, at the church. Interment will follow Mass in St. John Neumann
Cemetery.
