John Hammill, Jr. Obituary

John "Jack" Hammill Jr., a resident of Riegelsville for the past 11 years and formerly of Doylestown, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital, Quakertown. He was 62. He was the husband of Patricia Ragnoli. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Claire Hammill. Jack retired in 2006 from Metco Manufacturing in Warrington where he was employed as a tool and die maker. Jack had a passion for hunting and fishing and loved to be outdoors. He also enjoyed working on automobiles and collecting model trains. In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by two daughters, Lyndsay Jackle and her husband, Matthew, of Jamison and Denise Hammill of Texas; and a grandson, Wyatt Jackle. He is also survived by a brother, Glenn Hammill and his wife, Betsy; a sister, Patricia Conicelli and her husband, Carman; and several nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by a son, John Hammill. His memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Kellers Church roads, Plumsteadville, where his family will receive friends from 5 p.m.
