Margaret Beck

Margaret A. Beck, a resident of Warrington since 1953, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at her residence. She was 80. Margaret was the loving wife of Fred J. Beck Sr. whom she married Aug. 29, 1953. Born in Philadelphia, Margaret was a daughter of the late Walter and Anna (McClure) Faerber. Margaret retired from Triboro (Mohawk Devises) of Doylestown. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed crafting. Most of all, Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband Fred, Margaret is survived by four daughters, Barbara Michener and her husband, Lester, Dianna Fields and her husband, Donald, Elizabeth Kurth and her husband, Richard, and Peggy DeVito and her husband, John, and a son, Fred Beck Jr. and his wife, Lynn. Margaret also is survived by seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Pries. Margaret's funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
