Marian Smith

Marian L Smith of North Wales passed away peacefully on 11/27/17. She was 69. Born and raised in Warrington, Marian was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Gertrude Smith and brothers Warren and Sam. Marian is survived by her loving partner Lucy Emery and her sister Dorothy Smith as well as brother-in-law Charles Gorski and sister-in-law Linda Gorski, 6 nieces and nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews and many cherished friends. Marian was a graduate of Central Bucks High School and East Stroudsburg University. She taught for 35 years in the Bensalem School District retiring in 2005. She was an avid golfer, Pickleball player, traveler, and cat lover. Hers was a life well lived and she will always live on in our hearts. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 9th 11:00am at Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church on Meetinghouse Road Hartsville/Warminster PA. The family wishes to send special thanks to the Hanjani Institute for Gyn Oncology and the staff on 2W West at Abington/Jefferson Hospital for their loving care of Marian. Additional thanks to Abington/Jefferson Hospice for the compassion and comfort they provided during a time of transition.
