Paul R. Petrilla Sr. of Warrington, PA passed away suddenly on Monday July 13, 2009. He was 70. Paul was the beloved husband for 48 years of RoseAnn E. Petrilla. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Mary E. Petrilla (nee Smith) and the late Paul G. Petrilla. Paul served in the United States Navy for twenty years and later worked in the field of quality control. He was a resident of Warrington for 39 years. His hobbies included working on antique cars, gardening, and tinkering with electronics. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family and antiquing with his wife. Paul was active in the Fleet Reserve, the Model T Ford Club and many other car clubs. He took part in judging at antique car shows. He took great pleasure in showing his Model T Ford at shows. He is survived by his mother, Mary E. Petrilla, of Mineola, New York, his wife RoseAnn E. Petrilla (nee Sabatino), daughter Maryellen D. White (Robert) of Quakertown, son Paul R. Petrilla Jr. (Linda) of Ambler, daughter Christine Pataki (Scott) of Warrington, daughter Rachelle E. Rubas (Jerome) of Warrington, Grandfather of Robert G. White Jr., Richard P. White, Michael J. White, Nicolas S. Pataki, Anthony J. Rubas, Alexsander B. Rubas, Eric J. Pataki, Andrew C. Rubas, Lauren R. Rubas, and Great Grandfather of Arianna M. White, Brother of Lori J. Golden (John) of Glennhead, New York, Uncle of Peter O. Austin (Joanna) of New York, NY, Great Uncle of Jack Austin. Family and friends are invited to his viewing at Shelly Funeral Home on 1460 Easton Road in Warrington, on Monday July 20th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm and Tuesday July 21st from 9:30-10:30 am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue in Warrington. A celebration of his life will immediately follow at Joseph’s Catering on Horsham Road, in Horsham. Interment with military honors will be at a later date at Washingtons Crossing National Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition, 3227 Prospect Avenue, Trevose, PA 19053 or Bethlehem Catholic Students for Life, Bethlehem Catholic High School, 2133 Madison Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
