Rita McNally

Rita M. McNally, a resident of Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, formerly of Ottsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at the Doylestown Hospital. She was 80. Rita was the wife of the late John M. McNally, who preceded her in death on May 6, 2009. Born and raised in the Spring Garden Section of Philadelphia, Rita was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Snyder. In the early part of her career, Rita was employed with the Herman L. Winterer Company of Philadelphia. She also worked as a nurses' aid at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown. Rita is survived by her three sons: Kenneth of Ottsville, Joseph of Dublin and Robert and his wife, Helen of Hamilton, N.J. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Virginia McNally of Abington; sisters, Sr. Ann Augustine SSJ and Eleanor Moran; five grandchildren: Shaun, Michelle, Kristen, Samantha, Keira; three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Rita was preceded in death by a son, John Henry (Jack), and a sister, Regina Grady. Rita's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Church, 4050 Durham Road, Ottsville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 30th and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Shelly Funeral Home, Easton and Keller's Church Roads, Plumsteadville. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Rita's name may be made to the Neshaminy Manor Recreation Department, 1660 Easton Road, Warrington PA 18976.
