Robert Friz

Robert M. Friz, a resident of Warrington since 1962, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2021, at the Willow Lake Retirement Community, Willow Grove. He was 89. Robert was the husband of the late Margaret (Kovak) Friz. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late William and Helen Friz. Robert was proud to have served with the U.S. Air Force during World War II stationed in New Guinea. Robert was an active resident of Warrington and enjoyed his community. He was often involved in township politics and events. Robert is survived by a daughter, Shirley Fleming and her husband, Michael and two grandchildren, Erin and Kerry. Robert was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Charles and Harry. Robert's Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Ave., Warrington. Family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
