Ronald Witty

Ronald Wayne Witty of Warrington, formerly of Chatham, NJ and Dallas, Tx., passed away Friday, June 20. He was 74. He was the beloved husband of Carole Witty, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Mankato, MN., he was the son of Harley Witty and Hazel Beal. Ron attended the University of Minnesota. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the great outdoors. Known affectionately as Big Daddy, Ron loved to laugh and tell a good,(sometimes not so good!), joke. Ron retired as CFO of a NYC Importing Company and enjoyed cooking, reading, watching westerns, and bragging about his children and grandchildren during his retirement. Ron is survived by his wife Carole, his brothers Robert (Patricia), and Gerald (Chae), his two daughters Holly Reimel (Jeff) , and Robin DeRosa (Andy), and 5 grandchildren: Kelly DeRosa, Nicole DeRosa, Michael DeRosa, Katie Reimel and Grayce Reimel. Family and friends are invited to call from 6-7pm on June 25, 2014 at the Shelly Funeral Home in Warrington, Pa 1460 Easton Road. Memorial Service 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Doylestown Hospital 595 W state Street Doylestown, PA. 18901
