BOUCHER, PAULINE (LAGUEUX) died May 23, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA, within days of her 98th birthday, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Reginald H. Boucher, M.D. Born in 1918 in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of Edward and Claudia (Benoit) Lagueux, she lived in Pawtucket for many years. She was a graduate of Rhode Island College, class of 1940, and a member of the Rhode Island College Alumni Association. She taught school in the Pawtucket school system. She is survived by one brother, Norman Lagueux of Lititz, PA. She leaves two sons, the Rev. Edward C. Boucher (Janice) of Somerset, MA, and Henry R. Boucher (Marcie) of Pittsburgh, PA. She also leaves five beloved grandchildren: Mark Boucher, Matthew Boucher, Thomas Boucher, Andrew Crisafulli, and David Crisafulli, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a dear friend, Elliott Whitney. She was the sister of the late Conrad Lagueux and Germaine Berube. She was known for her love and devotion to her family, her fondness for Rhode Island, her love of reading, especially biographies of U.S. Presidents and First Ladies, and her excellent bridge game. She will be remembered for her care for the poor, her deep faith, and her thoughtfulness and graciousness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Avenue, in Pawtucket, RI. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.
