Bristol – Albertina (Melo) DaSilva, 89 of Bristol died Friday May 8 2020 at Grace Barker Nursing Home, Warren. She was the wife of the late Joao F. DaSilva. Albertina was born in St. Miguel, Azores Portugal, a daughter of the late John and Maria (Vieira) Melo. She was a factory worker for the American Tourister Company for Many years before retiring. She has been a Bristol resident since 1965, and also a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church. Mrs. DaSilva was the mother of John DaSilva of Warren and the late Victor DaSilva. She was the sister of Connie Rodrigues, and the late Ilda Vieira. Mrs. DaSilva was the grandmother of Khris DaSilva. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street Bristol. Calling hours and flowers are omitted.
