Warren - Allan R. Wilson ,Jr., 54 of Warren ,died unexpectedly on Wednesday Sept. 4,2019 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Beth (West) Wilson. Allan, was born in Providence a son of Gloria (Botelho) Wilson of Warren and the late Allan R. Wilson ,Sr. Allan was a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic ,for the State of Rhode Island for over 15 years ,and he also worked for various construction companies. A lifelong Warren resident, he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He enjoyed working on anything mechanical, working on cars ,and motors. He liked building classic cars, fishing and his pets. He was a foodie. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters Heather Wilson and her partner Larren Witter of Warren, and Hayley Wilson of Warren. Allan was the brother of Lori Wilson – Medeiros and his brother in law Michael of Warren, and Sandra Wilson of Warren. He was the nephew of Maureen Ponte and her husband Michael of Swansea, MA., and the cousin of Michael Ponte and his wife Kim of Swansea ,Ma, and Marie Croarkin of Pawtucket. Allan was also the uncle of Marisa Medeiros and Megan Medeiros both of Warren. His funeral will be held Monday September 9, 2019 at 9:30 am from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES ,8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,141 State Street Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are SUNDAY from 2-5pm and Monday MORNING from 9:30-10:30am. Burial will be held privately and at a later date .
