Lynwood J. Morin (L.J.), 76, beloved husband for 54 years of Nance (Darrow) Morin, of Robin St., Pawcatuck, passed away at his home on Monday, June 5, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Lynwood and Dorothy Morin. Lynwood was a general foreman for Electric Boat in Groton for many years. He was also a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, NASCAR and UCONN basketball. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind two sons, David W. and Dawn Morin of Bradenton, FL and Thomas J. and Annette Morin of Denver, CO; five siblings, Dennis and James Morin both of Florida, Arthur Morin of Maine, Dorothy Faille of Norwich, CT and Donna Walden of Lisbon, CT; four grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah Jane, Madison and Katelyn; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, June 30th at 11:30a.m. at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St. Westerly.
