Jeanne Martel

Jeanne L. Martel, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, gently passed away on June 6, 2015 after a brief illness. Jeanne retired in 2010 from the State of Rhode Island Food Stamp Program after many years of service. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Loretta (Messier) Martel, and her brother-in-law Thomas Hernacki. She is survived by her sister Doris Martel Hernacki, her brother and sister-in-law Ed and Lianne (Aman) Martel, and her sister and brother-in-law Linda Martel-Dulude and Roger Dulude, Jr. She also leaves her nephews and niece: Steven Hernacki, Alex Dulude, Andrew Hernacki, Eric Martel, Melissa Martel and Derek Dulude. Jeanne also cherished her 2 grandnieces: Morgan and Dharma Dulude. Jeanne will also be missed by her longtime friends Theresa (Claveau) and Thomas Arnold and their four children. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a burial service Friday June 12th at 1pm in Notre Dame Cemetery 359 Daggett Ave, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeanne's memory to the American Diabetes Association www.diabetes.org/donate or a charity of your choice.
