John Lucchesi

John Thomas Lucchesi, 49, of Woonsocket died unexpectedly on September 8th, 2019. He was a son of the late Alfred and Judith (Manigan) Lucchesi Sr., He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra (Hodell) Lucchesi and was a loving father to Aiden T. Lucchesi. John is also survived by his brothers David Lucchesi and Alfred Lucchesi Jr., both of Woonsocket along with his sister AnnMarie Lucchesi of Colorado. He was predeceased by one brother, Michael Lucchesi. John is also survived by a close circle of friends and relatives by whom he will be sorely missed. John was a loving and caring man, always there for his family. He never took life too seriously and reminded others often, that we shouldn’t either. He was always quick with a joke, a laugh or to make someone smile. It was known in his family that, “all children loved John” for his kindness and quiet ways. He was a fantastic cook; Italian food was his favorite and he enjoyed baking and making big pans of lasagna often, for his family. He liked to watch NCIS at home, quietly with just his family. He loved motorcycles and especially loved to collect things that interested him. His family would chide him that he was a “hoarder” but, his collections were an accumulation of interesting and eclectic conversation pieces. Services for John, to which friends and relatives are invited to attend, will be held in the Berarducci Funeral Home, 185 Spring St., Woonsocket RI 02895, Thursday September 12th from 4-7pm with burial in St Charles Cemetery Blackstone MA, Friday, September 13t. Funeral cortege will form at the funeral home beginning at 9am with procession leaving at 9:45 am
