Robert Gonder

Robert O. Gonder, 79, of Cranston and formerly of Orange New Jersey, passed away at Kent County Hospital on August 7th, 2019. He was a son of the late Charles F., and Grace (Taylor) Gonder. He is survived by his loving daughters, Sharen L. Mitchell of VA, Deanna L. Nicholson and Lisa A. Batista, both of CT., four sons, Scott Gonder, Joseph Gonder, Jaime Gonder and Justin Gonder. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kellie S.Gonder. Robert was predeceased by his three brothers, Warren and Raymond Lindeman and Charles Gonder. He is grandfather to 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Robert was a loving and caring man, adored by his daughters, who loved to play Golf and Poker. He loved the peacefulness and beauty of the beach and its sunsets. He loved fishing. As Bob got on in years, he found comfort in going to church and reading the Bible. His favorite snacks were, Bratwurst and Sauerkraut, Liverwurst and Bermuda Onion with Limburger Cheese. A service for Robert, to which friends and family are invited to attend will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, in the Berarducci Funeral Home. 185 Spring St Woonsocket from 4-6 pm. Burial will be private.
