Shirley Zuchero

Shirley Zuchero, 84, of Golden Crest Nursing Home passed away, peacefully on October 14th, 2019. A daughter of the late Angelo and Concetta (Chiodini) Zuchero, Shirley was predeceased by her siblings, her brothers James and Joseph Zuchero and her sisters Delores Sandrige and Joan Menard. She is survived by her nieces, nephews and dear friends by whom she will be sorely missed. A lifelong Rhode Island resident, after graduating high school, Shirley worked for many years at Monet Jewelry as a floor Supervisor before retiring. She was a kind and loving person for whom no one ever had and unkind word to say. She was giving and generous, always loved to surround herself with children and her family. Shirley played golf and loved the beaches of Rhode Island. She loved to visit Oakland beach with her family and friends to wait in line for the famous Doughboys and Clam Cakes. She also liked to visit her family in Norfolk Virginia but always loved coming back home to Rhode Island. Burial services for Shirley to which friends and family are respectfully invited to attend will be held Monday in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, 314 Wrentham Road, Bellingham MA., at 10 am. A funeral procession will leave from the Berarducci Funeral Home,185 Spring St., Woonsocket at 9:45 am.
