Annie Mullinax Obituary

Gaffney -- Annie Mae Upchurch Mullinax, 84, of 103 Kentwood Road, passed away Monday, September 22nd, 2014, at Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Bill Mullinax and the daughter of the late Jessie and Amanda Upchurch. Mrs. Mullinax was a member of Draytonville Baptist Church. Mrs. Mullinax is survived by two daughters, Hattie (Pete) Mullinax of Gaffney and Mattie (Punk) Parker of Gaffney; one brother, Marvin Glen Upchurch, of Gaffney; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents. Mrs. Mullinax was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Donna Lynn Echoles; a grandson, Benjamin Lee Echoles; four brothers, Walter Edward Upchruch, Lewis Carson Upchurch, Richard Thomas Upchurch, Jessie Roy Upchurch Jr.; and two sisters, Margaret Ann Mullinax and Mary Jane Mullinax. Memorial services for Mrs. Mullinax will be held Friday, September 26, 2014, at 3:00 PM in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Henry Guyton and Rev. Keith Harrill officiating.
