Gaffney -- Arthur Weaver, 78, of 113 Easy Street, passed away December 28th, 2013 at Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center. Born in York, he was the son of the late Mary Elizabeth Bolin. He worked as a Machine Operator and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Weaver is survived by a son, Eric Bradford Weaver, of Gaffney; two daughters, Terry Weaver and husband, Tim, of the home and Crystal Ballenger and husband, Mike, of Gaffney; two brothers, David Weaver of Clover and William Weaver of Gaffney; six grandchildren, Tabatha Lanier, Samatha Couch, Tyler Branyon, Brendan Ballenger, Trinity Ballenger, and Nolan Weaver, all of Gaffney; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his mother, Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Ray Weaver. The family will receive friends Friday, January 3nd, 2014, from 1:00 pm -2:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery. Mike Ballenger, Tyler Branyon, Tim Russell, Ronnie Russell, Wayne Spencer, and Marvin Beaver will serve as pallbearers.
