Benjamin Kiser

Blacksburg-- Benjamin F. Kiser, 92, of 157 Bear Den Road, passed away Saturday, July 16th, 2016, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney. Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Dorothy Patterson Kiser and the son of the late Robert Kiser and Lula Owensby Kiser. Mr. Kiser was a member of Garden Temple Assembly. He was veteran of the US Army, serving in Europe during World War II. Surviving Mr. Kiser is one son, Mickey Kiser of Pelham, GA; four daughters, Jovona Kiser of Buckhead, GA, Debra Bradley of Gaffney, Tina Blackwell of Blacksburg, and Linda Kiser of Myrtle Beach; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Kiser was preceded in death by four sons, Larry, Richard, Daryl, and Rickey Kiser; a daughter, Wanda Kiser; and a special friend, Ramona Reynolds. Graveside services will be Monday, July 18, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Rev. Danny Marshburn officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. The family will be at their respective homes. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com.
