Carleen Cook

Blacksburg --Carleen "Charley" H. Cook, 64, of 244 River Hill Road, Blacksburg, passed away September 8th, 2011 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Cook was the wife of Jerry Cook of the home and the daughter of the late William Carl Harris and Mary Royster Harris. She was owner/operator of Rock Bottom Insulation Company and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband Jerry Cook of the home; one son, Bobby Bolick Sr. and spouse Sandi of Blacksburg; two sisters, Christine Ruppe of Cowpens and Jean Martin of Belmont; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelia Kay Thomas and three brothers; Cecil Harris, Solon Harris, and Jerry Harris. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 11th, at 1:30pm at Grover Cemetery with Rev. Brian Harris officiating. The family will be at the residence. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com.
