Blacksburg -- Carol Beth Martin, 62, of 205 East Lime Street, passed away Sunday, October 29th, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Blacksburg, she was the daughter of the late Wilford Martin and Mildred Peterson Martin. Ms. Martin retired from Nursing and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Ms. Martin is survived by three brothers, David H. Martin, Charles M. Martin, and Steve D. Martin; one sister, Linda M. Childers, and special friend, William Covington. She was the most loved aunt of 14 nieces and nephews, 44 great-nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Louise Martin, her sister-in-law, Brenda Martin, one niece, Leslie Janine Martin, and one great-great-niece, Adalyn Michelle porter The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 241 Oak Grove Road, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702 with Rev. Grady Gregory officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clayton Childers, J M Martin, J J Martin, Zack Martin, T J Faulkenberry, and Garth Martin. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Martin Jr., Kevin Martin, Lee Wright, Johnny Martin, Michael Martin, Jeremy Martin, Bobby Martin, Jeff Martin, Brian Childers, and Shane Childers.
