Grover, NC -- Charles Ray Peterson, 26, of 764 Battleground Road, passed away August 19th, 2010 at Cleveland County Jail Annex. Mr. Peterson was the son of John Alexander and Gloria Gail Wilson Peterson of the home. He worked with a lawn service business and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peterson is survived by two daughters, Kayla Nicole Peterson and Alayna Michelle Crawford Peterson, both of the home; and a sister, Cathy Renee Peterson of the home. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 22nd, 2010 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23rd, at 4:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Timothy Whitaker and Rev. Josh Hardin officiating. Timmy Peterson, William Huffstetler, Kevin Patterson, Bobby Wooten, Dean Wilson, and Chris Ray will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charles Peterson Funeral Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary, PO Box 428, Blacksburg, SC 29702.
