Cindy Denise Walker

Jonesville -- Cindy Denise "Cotton" Walker, 47, of 228 Burgess Road, tragically passed away on Wednesday, December 25th, 2019, in an automobile accident. Born in Kings Mountain, she was the daughter of the Mark Walker and Mary Frances Walker and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. Cindy was a loving and helpful person who never met a stranger. She was always the children's favorite person and she always had candy for them. In addition to her parents, Ms. Walker is survived by her significant other, Rusty Caldwell, of the home; three children, Kristin Walker of Blacksburg, Timothy Norman of Blacksburg, and Kaytlin Caldwell of Union; her grandmother, Gladys Martin, of Blacksburg; a brother, Dillon Walker, of Smyrna; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Tracy Walker. A memorial service for Ms. Walker will be held on Sunday, December 29th, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Gloryland Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Gilfillan officiating. The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com. The Blacksburg location of Gordon Mortuary is serving the Walker family.
