Columbia -- Claude Allen Mullins, 31, formerly of Blacksburg, passed away Monday, August 4th, 2014 at his home. Born in Wise, VA, he was the son of Catherine Mullins Penningon and the late Claude Mullins. In addition to his mother, Mr. Mullins is survived by a sister, Cristy Staley, of Blacksburg; his step-father, Freeman Pennington, of Blacksburg; and a step-sister, Sharon Brakefield. Memorial services for Mr. Mullins will be held Friday, August 22, 2014, at 3:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. The family will be at their respective homes.
