Dana Sprouse

Blacksburg -- Dana Michelle Cobb Sprouse, 45, of 412 Little Hope Rd, passed away Wednesday, March 4th, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Bernard Hames and the daughter of the Eugene "Buck" Cobb and Mary Joyce Cobb. Mrs. Sprouse worked as a homemaker and was a member of Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sprouse survived by one son, Aaron Corey Sprouse, of Blacksburg; one daughter, Kathryn Danielle Sprouse, of Blacksburg; two step-daughters, Talia Hames of Spartanburg and Anissa Hames of Spartanburg; two brothers, Wesley Cobb of Shelby, NC and Sidney "Shad" Cobb of Blacksburg; two sisters, Candy Jane Martin of Blacksburg and Tammy Sue Dover of Blacksburg; and one grandson., The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6th, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary 400 West Cherokee Street Blacksburg, SC 29702. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church 203 First Street Blacksburg, SC 29702 with Rev. Gregg Martin and Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Mary Joyce Cobb, 600 Peeler Road, Cherokee Falls, SC.
