Gaffney - David Coleman, 65, of 2921 Chesnee Highway, passed away Friday, January 1,2010 at Spartanburg Regional Center. Born in Gaffney, Mr. Coleman was the husband of Sandra McAbee Coleman of the home and the son of the late Jessie and Mary Fowler Coleman. He worked in construction, and was of the Baptist faith . In addition to his wife , Mr. Coleman is survived by daughters, Tammy Coleman of the home; Tonya Harris; and Shirley Coleman of Gaffney. One son Chris Coleman of Gaffney; and one sister, Alma Mayfield of Gaffney. In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by sisters, Jessie Mae Huntington, Frances Baumgardner, Margaret Estees, and Lucille Thompson. Graveside services will be held Thursday Jan.7,2010 at Eleven O'clock at Frederick Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. The family will be at the residence.
