Kings Mountain -- Dell Marie Von Cannon Allen, 70, of 716 Sipes Street, passed away Wednesday, January 20th, 2016, at Testa Family Hospice. Born in Ashboro, she was the widow of the late James S. Allen and the daughter of the late Ernest and Edna Harper Von Cannon. Mrs. Allen retired from textiles and was a member of Patterson Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest James and Edna Harper Von Cannon, and her brother, Ray Von Cannon. Graveside services will beon Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Grover City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the services. Memorials may be made to Dale M. Allen Burial Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary, PO Box 428, Blacksburg, SC 29702 . The Book of Memories is available at www.gordonmortuary.com.
